Life begins

Start kindegarten at St Brigid’s School.

Moved to Wagga Wagga started school at Henschke Primary School.

Won Wagga Battle of the Bands. - link to photo

Graduated high school from Trinity Senior College.

Travelled to Sweden for a full year student exchange.

Started studing a Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia) at Charles Sturt University.

Started as a Graphic Designer at Snap Printing.

Dropped out of university - took out an Associate Degree in Multimedia.

Moved to Ireland. Started in Dublin, moved to Derry and back to Dublin.

Moved to Wales for a new job working at Sutherland Trading as their in-house graphic desiger working on all of their print material.

Packed up our lives in the UK and went backpacking for 3 months. 17 countries and an unforgettable journey.

Freelance graphic design and web work with MSP, CSU and small businesses.

Back to studying - switched to a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design).

Fulltime role at Charles Sturt University as a Multimedia Development Team Leader.

Married in Las Vegas

Honeymoon driving around France for three weeks.

Research trip to the US for three weeks to investigate mobile learning.

Established the mLearn project for CSU.

Daughter was born.

Recieved the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards For Leadership Excellence.

Family trip to Vanuatu.

Took on the role of Online Learning Technology Leader in the learning innovations unit, uImagine.

Collaboratively developed the Online Learning Model for roll out at CSU.

The Fire

Trip to the US to speak at the dLRN conference and meet Kate Bowles, Jim Groom and a raft of other North American Edtech-ers.

Gave my talk at Nerd Nite - Exploitation and Enslavement: A Story of Social Media.

US trip to join the Indie Ed Tech meetup and attend SXSWEdu.

Started in the Australian Wool Innovations stream of the eChallenge program.

Moved back into the house after the fire

Visit to Oklahoma for the Domains Conference. Presented Beyond the LMS.

Down Under reunion of the Domains crew - Keegan and Jim in Melbourne.

Started the short lived LinkRot podcast and created the Jekyll Podcast tool.

Runners up in the eChallenge program with the development of Kelpie: The Digital Working Dog.

Noosa family trip with the in-laws.

Winners of the Agrihack Challenge and the birth of Chickon.

Participant and finalist in the Hybrid World Startup Lab. Got to pitch to 400+ attendees on the big stage!

Cairns Klapdor family holiday. Diving on the Great Barrier Reef, white water rafting and quality family time.

Part of the India Entrepreneur Boot Camp. 10 days in India with a NSW Government delegation.

Family move to Adelaide.

Start work at the University of Adelaide in the Online Programs Team

Sold our Wagga home. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this place and it was sad to see it end.

Best man at my sister-in-laws' wedding. Was a stand in but honoured.

Got to experience a full Fringe Festival and WOMAD before COVID shut everything down.

Launch of the MathTrackX Program on EdX. My first work on MOOCs and setup a fully online bridging program for the university.

Turned 40, went home to see family, then spent 14 days in isolation.

Bought our "hexadome" home in Adelaide.

Trip to Kangaroo Island with Ms A. Most naturally beautiful places I've been to on the planet. Was great dad and daughter time.

Frankie joins the family

Family holiday to Fiji. Was quite dramatic with our friend breaking her ankle - but was a much needed holiday.

Trip with Mrs K to Port Lincoln. Dived with sharks, saw 4 great whites on the day! Ate oysters and a seafood feast in Coffin Bay and explored the National Parks.
